The CMS Board of Education approved the salary schedules for the 15-16 school year on October 13, 2015.   

Those certified employees paid on the "teacher schedules" at the 00-04 experience levels received their increases in their August payment due to the continuing resolutions passed in July.  If there is any retroactive payment due for work in July 2015 (year-round schools, extended learning calendar, summer school, extended employment), it will be paid in October.  

All other employees on the certified "teacher" schedules will see their experience step increase by the end of October.  Those employees who move to experience steps 05, 10, 15, 20, 25 will also receive an increase in pay to be implemented in their October pay checks.  Any retroactive payments due from July 1, 2015 will be paid at the same time.   

Principals and assistant principals will receive a one-step increase based on their state rate in their October payment.  Any principal or assistant principal who do not receive a step increase will receive a $809 bonus prorated based on percent employed.  The $809 will be paid in monthly amounts for the contract term.   

All permanent and part-time employees employed (in pay status) on November 1, 2015 will receive a $750 bonus.  Part-time employees will have their bonus prorated based on percent employed.
