Kondra Rattley, learning community superintendent for the East Learning Community, has been employed with CMS for fourteen years. She was previously the executive director of the East Learning Community.

Kondra Rattley began her career in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools as a biology teacher at Olympic High School. Afterwards, she moved to Winston-Salem where she served as a teacher and school counselor with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools. Upon her return to Charlotte, Kondra continued to serve students and families in the Charlotte community in the role of counselor and administrator at Wilson Middle, Independence High School, and Mallard Creek High School. She led Garinger High School as principal before transitioning to the East Learning Community.
A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Kondra holds a bachelor's degree in Biology, Secondary Education from Appalachian State University, a master's degree in School Counseling from Appalachian State University, a master's degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University, and she is completing requirements for a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. Kondra is married with one son, and her husband is a Dean of Students in CMS.
