Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education is seeking qualified candidates to serve as a District 6 Board member. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and a registered voter in District 6. Qualified applicants are encouraged to contact the Board of Education office at 980-343-5139. Applications may be retrieved at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education’s Board Services office at the Government Center, 600 East Fourth St., Charlotte.

Applications are due no later than 3 p.m. today. Any applications received after 3 p.m. will not be considered.

Board of Education District 6 interviews are at 1 p.m.  Jan. 3, in the Government Center, Room CH-14.
