As Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students return to school on Jan. 4, families need to know there are some new safety features for school bus riders. Beginning Jan. 1, the State of North Carolina has implemented standard crossing signals to help protect students when they cross the street to board or exit the bus.
The below diagrams explain the new signals bus drivers will give to students.
