•  Valarie Williams, currently principal at Vance High, has been named principal at Whitewater Middle
•  Alicia Springs, currently principal at Kennedy Middle, has been named principal at Northeast Middle
•  Paul Williams, currently principal at Winget Park Elementary, has been named principal at McClintock Middle
•  Lane Price, currently principal at Northeast Middle, has been named principal at Myers Park Traditional Elementary
• Patricia Riska, currently principal at Polo Ridge Elementary, has been reassigned.

McClintock and Myers Park Traditional had openings created by retirements. The vacancies at Winget Park, Vance High, Kennedy Middle and Polo Ridge Elementary will be filled this summer, as will the vacancy at West Charlotte High created by the departure of Shelton Jefferies.

The transfers are effective July 1.
