Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has launched the CMSListens site, which will focus on the changes outlined in the 2018-2019 student assignment plan. Community members can register to ask questions, post ideas and suggestions on the site.
"The district is committed to listening to our community and being transparent about the work we do," said Dr. Clayton Wilcox, superintendent. "We want to hear from and be responsive to our stakeholders. CMSListens is a tool for two-way communication."
The site provides access to changes by school, project pages and a geoportal. Project pages will include descriptions, announcements, feedback and input requests, as well as a place to ask questions. The geoportal allows users to enter their home addresses and find their 2018-2019 school assignments. There is also an option to subscribe to project updates.
