 | Eric C. Davis, District 5 | Davis was elected to the Board of Education to represent District 5 in 2009 and served as chairperson 2009 to 2011. He holds a bachelor of science degree with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He is a professional engineer in North Carolina and has served on numerous boards such as Sustainable North Carolina, the CMS Superintendent's Standards Review Committee and the Carolina Freedom Foundation. He has also served as chair of the City of Charlotte Privatization/Competition Advisory Committee and the CMS Bond Oversight Committee. Davis is a Charlotte native who attended CMS schools and with his wife, Adrienne, is a parent with two daughters. His salary for serving on the Board is $1,019.79 per month.
