The summer school session will be targeted toward students either in credit recovery or repeating Biology or Math I for credit. Students pursuing either option may take the corresponding End-of-Course (EOC) exam. The results of the exam can be included in accountability calculations for the school if test scores are uploaded to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) by June 30, 2016. Specifically, this year local school boards must approve a summer school program that will run prior to the June 30 deadline for this testing option to be exercised and scores to be sent to NCDPI for inclusion in accountability calculations.
