All four schools will have a 180 day school year for students. The days will be distributed across the year to minimize the long summer break and will include a spring and fall intersession. Enrichment programming will be offered to students during the intersessions.
Druid Hills Academy and Thomasboro Academy will no longer have 19 additional school days.
A robust communication effort will be implemented to ensure families are aware of the continuous learning calendar schools' calendar.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District website (WWW.CMS.K12.NC.US) is in the process of
being updated to ensure compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
