2011-12 School Year
New students must enroll at their home school. If families wish to be considered for placement in a school other than the home school, they must submit a request for reassignment within 10 days of enrolling.
2012-13 School Year
New students may begin enrolling for the 2012-13 school year: October 5, 2011
Last day for new students to enroll and be eligible for the First Magnet Lottery: December 2
Lottery Instruction letters begin arriving in homes: First week of January 2012
Application period for the first lottery: January 6 – February 13 at 10:00pm
Magnet Fair at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology: January 7
Notification letters for first lottery arrive in homes: late February
Request for Reassignment/Transfer period for 1st lottery: January 6 - March 23
New student enrollment period for second lottery: December 5 – May 4
Instruction letters for the second lottery begin arriving in homes: mid-March
Application period for second lottery: March 14 – June 4 at 10:00pm
Notification letters for second lottery arrive in homes: Week of June 20
Notification letters for Magnet entrance and continuation requirements arrive in homes: late June
