Myers Park High School
- Newsweek Magazine ranks Myers Park High School 66th among America's top 100 high schools. This is the highest ranking amoung CMS schools
- The senior class of 2010 won over $9 million dollars in academic, athletic or merit scholarships
- The National Merit Scholarship Corporation named 18 CMS graduates as 2010 national Merit Scholars. Myers Park High School led CMS with 10 students receiving scholarships.
- Project Lead The way (PLTW), the national certification board for the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, recognized Myers Park High School for it's outstanding pre-engineering programs

- Future City team won state-level awards for Sim City and Best Presentation categories. The team won Most Accessible City award at the national level.
- Science Olympiad team took two second place medals and one fifth place event medal at the national competition. The team placed 24th nationally out of over 1,000 teams.
