An acknowledgement of magnet program expectations and the magnet entrance and continuation requirements for the theme being applied to is necessary in order to complete and submit the online lottery application form and the Request for Reassignment/Transfer form.  Please visit the Magnet Expectations Agreement page of the Magnet website for additional program-specific entrance and continuation requirements information.

Students without NC End of Year Assessment Data, when Used as Magnet Entrance Requirement

North Carolina EOG/EOC results are not required for future students making application for magnet school placement if currently attending a private or parochial school, are being home-schooled, or are living outside of North Carolina.  In these circumstances, the student must be at grade level and promoted at the end of the current year.  The student will be held accountable for meeting established magnet continuation requirements for the magnet theme in which the student is enrolled the coming school year.
