Site Selection

The NC Pre-K Site Selection Committee will review all applications and make their recommendations to the NC Pre-K Committee.   Childcare centers located in geographic areas that have a high need for NC Pre-K classrooms will be prioritized during this process.  Sites may be visited during the site selection process.  Final decisions about site selection will be made by the NC Pre-K Committee. Sites that are approved may or may not obtain classrooms over the next few years.  Approved sites will be considered for new classrooms.
