Elementary  Schools Tutorial Program

  • Goal: To ensure and improve the successful achievement of students performing below grade level at the end of the school year in reading and math.
    • Strategy: To provide struggling learners the opprotunity for additonal support to ensure he or she can read, comprehend, integrate, apply complex text and make progress in reading proficiency.
    • Strategy: To provide struggling learners the opprotunity for additional support to ensure he or she can reason mathematically, problem solve, develop strong number/pattern sense, and computation fluency.
  • Locations:  Elementary Schools
  • Time Frame:
    • After School - Two days per week
    • No classes when students are not in school
    • Students - 2 Hours/Day
    • Teachers - 2.5 Hours/Day
  • Target Students: Students in grades K-5 performing below grade level in either reading or math at the end of the school year.
