What an honor it is to be serving as your President for 2008-2010.  I guess you all knew how much fun I had in this position in 2004-06 so you gave me the chance to do it again!

I am very fortunate to have an outstanding board working with me to ensure that all retirees are well informed and united in our goals.  Our organization is recognized across the state as being most effective in attaining our goals and meeting the needs of our retirees.  We have found during this process that we are stronger when we have a large membership.  I encourage you to join the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Retired School Organization (CMRSP) and let your voice be heard.

We have four luncheon meetings a year at the Hilton at University Place.  This gives all of us an opportunity to talk, laugh and eat with former colleagues and friends.  Please come to our luncheons and join in all the fellowship.  We also always have an outstanding program planned just for you.

Highlights, our quarterly newsletter, provides us with legislative information, volunteer opportunities, membership updates and member information.  Members will receive their personal copies of Highlights throughout the year.  Our website is also easy to access and provides even more information that our members often need.
