The Design area is responsible for designing and overseeing the design of economical, yet remarkable schools in which our students can learn and be inspired.
Design team oversees the design and estimating for each construction project, whether new or renovation. These team members are knowledgeable of a variety of building codes and local regulations. As the work of this department is highly scrutinized, a well designed project avoids increased construction cost and allegations of malfeasance as well.
The Design team members are registered professionals, some in multiple disciplines. They direct consulting architects, engineers, and site planners to develop projects that meet the needs of CMS. Internally, the Design team works with the Project Managers and senior staff of Bovis-CMS (the school system’s construction program manager), as well as the principals and staff of any affected building or space.
