The Sr. Administrative Secretary is responsible for the day to day operation of the budget for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Police Department, The position provides assistance to the Chief in preparing the annual budget. This position also serves as Secretary to the Chief. The Sr. Administrative Secretary is responsible for all purchases through the initiation of purchase orders to vendors for needs to sustain as a police department. The position reconciles all CMSPD budget codes with purchase orders and invoices. The Sr. Administrative Secretary is responsible for input and tracking of all inventory in the department. The Sr. Administrative Secretary assists the Deputy Chief, Detectives, Lead Security Associates, Alarm Division and Officers daily as needed.
