As part of the North Carolina Beginning Teacher Support Program, the focus of our New Teacher Support is to structure the teaching/learning environments so each new teacher has the opportunity to realize his/her maximum potential.​


The Teacher Professional Development department provides specialized support to new teachers in order to meet the unique needs of all new teachers early in their career.  These supports include differentiated professional development opportunities and personal support throughout the first three years of teaching.  ​
