Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' Child Nutrition Services provides high-quality meals for your child that are both nutritious and appealing at a reasonable cost.
In June, the Board of Education approved universal free breakfast for all CMS students beginning with the 2013-14 school year. All students are allowed one free breakfast each school day during breakfast serving times.
The award-winning department serves more than 29,000 breakfasts, nearly 80,000 lunches and 12,000 after-school snacks each day.

CMS is currently accepting applications for free- and reduced-price lunch.
Families whose children have special nutrition needs, including food allergies or diabetes, should fill out the diet order form.
