Unlike the rest of CMS, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten starts are staggered. Some children will start Aug. 25, others will have a first day later that week.
Whenever your child starts kindergarten, don’t worry – the bus will be there to pick your child up. Your child’s bus will stop at every stop, whether there are children there or not, for the first 10 days of school to be sure that no child misses the bus.
After the first two weeks of school, the routes will be firmly established and CMS bus drivers will not stop at bus stops where there are no children.
