Bus Driver Recruitment Bonus - $1,000 for all new drivers with a start date in the 2021-2022
school year and who participate in a training class.

Instructional Substitute Bonus: Beginning November 1, 2021, daily teacher substitutes will be eligible for bonuses based on the number of assignments completed in a month. Bonuses are payable in the month following the month in which they were earned.  For example, if you work 13 days in November 2021, you will receive a $500 bonus in December 2021. 

  • Work 5-9 assignments in a month and receive a $200 bonus the following month.
  • Work 10 or more assignments in a month will receive a $500 bonus the following month.

In addition, daily teacher substitutes who accept an assignment at a Title I school earn an additional $10 per day for 1/2 day worked and $20 per day for full day worked. Click here to view Title I schools.

Guest Teachers Our Guest Teacher initiative has been expanded districtwide.  In addition, we are now offering a higher pay rate at $180/day for Guest Teachers who are certified. The Non-Certified Guest Teacher rate remains at $150/day. Guest Teachers are full time employees dedicated solely to one school. All guest teaching positions will receive full benefits, and the positions are considered temporary and funded through June 2023. 

Minimum requirements for the Non-certified Guest Teacher are a high school diploma and at least 21 years old.  Minimum requirements for the Certified Guest Teacher are completed bachelor's degree and a teaching license, active or expired. 

Individuals who currently volunteer within their school communities and others looking to make a daily, positive impact with our students are encouraged to apply.
