CMS students win additional college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships

Eleven Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seniors are among more than 1,200 additional winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities.

The awards, announced July 11 by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, are between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the financing institution. More than 2,600 college-sponsored award recipients were announced in June.

The winners are:

  • John Schubert, National Merit Bowdoin College Scholarship
