Teacher Academy welcomes Black Lives Matter muralist, teacher

In our third episode of Teacher Academy, we are joined by Shamrock Gardens Elementary art teacher Jamil Steele. He was one of the artists who helped paint the Black Lives Matter mural in uptown Charlotte. The 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 Teachers of the Year talk about how to help students express themselves through art during these difficult times and why Black Lives Matter.
