Back to School

On Aug. 25th, we begin a new school year, welcoming all students, teachers and staff back into schools in every CMS learning community in the district. We are excited to be together again. We have a few things to share for the 2021-2022 school year.

We are ready for your student with:
  • In-person learning for all students PK-12, five days a week
  • Extracurricular activities, arts enrichment and athletic programs
  • Normal bus routes and regular stops for all schools
  • Free breakfast and lunch for students
  • Top high schools as ranked by U.S. News & World Report
  • Award-winning After School Enrichment Programs (ASEP) with before-school care
Safety is a top priority, so our plan is:
  • Indoor face-covering requirements for all students and staff
  • Frequent handwashing encouraged and reinforced
  • Sanitizing and daily cleaning of high-touch surfaces
  • Recommended self-screening at home for students with symptoms
