Important Dates

  • November 23, 2021 – Applications were due
  • November 29, 2021 – The seven finalists were announced
  • November 30, 2021 – Campaigning can begin
  • December 3, 2021 – Candidate materials will be posted on CMS social media accounts so that they can be shared with students. This information will include a student picture, the student’s application, a video statement (won’t be added until week of Dec. 7th), and a link to the Roundtable (won’t be added until Dec. 9th).
  • December 8, 2021 – A Candidate Roundtable will be held and streamed on all CMS social media accounts. The Roundtable will be held from 3:00pm – 4:30pm.
  • December 13, 2021 – The election window will open for all high school students enrolled at a CMS school.
  • December 16, 2021 – The election window will close at the end of the day.
  • December 17, 2021 – The Student Advisor to the Board for 2022 will be announced.
  • January 1, 2022 – The Student Advisor’s one-year term begins.
