  • The Board meets in closed session at 5 p.m. in room CH-14 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center before each regular Board meeting, unless otherwise stated.

  • Citizens may address the Board of Education at the first regular meeting of each month. Individual speakers will be given up to three minutes. Depending on the number of speakers, the time to speak may be reduced. Documents from speakers will be placed in Board member boxes and will not be distributed during the meeting.

  • Citizens may address the Board during public hearings about additions or revisions to the CMS Policy Book.  

  • Please contact Clerk to the Board, 980-343-5163, with questions concerning meeting minutes.

  • Live broadcasts of regular Board meetings air on CMS-TV Cable 3 and are video-streamed live.
