2009-10 Board Adopted Boundaries
CMS held a series of workshops with parents and community residents to gather input on proposed boundary options for the 2009-2010 school year. During these meetings, CMS staff provided information about boundaries and participants shared reactions. Opportunities for small group and large group discussion were included as part of the process in order to maximize feedback. CMS plans to open four new elementary schools and two new middle schools in 2009-2010.

 Board Adopted School Boundaries with 2008-09 Data Information

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education approved boundaries and feeder patters for seven new schools at its meeting Nov. 12. Six of the schools are expected to open for the 2009-2010 school year and will ease overcrowding at existing CMS schools.
