Mission

The Community Partnerships and Family Engagement (CPFE) Department works to foster active collaboration between families, community partners, and CMS to support the social, emotional, and educational development of all students.

Our Approach

Our department fulfills its mission by:

  • Building the capacity of families to become informed advocates and empowered partners in their child's academic success.
  • Strengthening the capacity of district and school staff to effectively connect, engage, and collaborate with community partners and families.
  • Engaging community partners to provide networks of support for students and families.
  • Ensuring that all constituents receive high quality and timely customer service.
  • Promoting and communicating a shared vision of community partnerships and family engagement across the district.
