Mission
The mission of the Community Partnerships and Family Engagement (CPFE) Department is to create comprehensive systems of support for all children by engaging families and community partners. 

Our Approach

CPFE fosters synergies, between schools, families, businesses, communities, civic and faith-based organizations to improve the academic and social-emotional outcomes for students as well as to provide personal and professional enrichment opportunities for families, educators and district staff.

Our department fulfills its mission by:

  • Connecting schools, communities, families and students.
    Establish and cultivate strategic, sustainable partner relationships with stakeholders to provide multilevel support networks that serve the holist needs of student and creating a climate that boosts academic success.

  • Creating connection opportunities for families.
    Build the capacity of families to be informed, equal partners in their children's education by designing customized learning experiences that are relational, developmental, collaborative, interactive and linked to learning.
  • Collaborating with school and district staff.
    Promote a systemic, integrated and sustained approach to family engagement in schools and throughout the district that includes developing the capacity of district and school-based staff to actively communicate, engage and partner with families for the purpose of increasing positive outcomes for students.
