HomeBase Professional Development
Home Base

Welcome to the Home Base Training Site

HomeBase is the term used by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction that includes PowerSchool, Open Class, Test Nav, True North Logic (NCEES) and School Net. Each of these web based applications will be part of your overall toolkit for supporting student learning and teaching. Now is the time to advance what you may have already learned or get familiar with new features for classroom management.

We are excited to offer a series of professional development opportunities starting every Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning March 20, 2014. Each class will be hosted by Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in convenient locations indicated on the electronic registration form.  With each training cycle you will receive instruction from certified trainers in each area, have opportunities to get answers to your questions , and review best practices for using these applications.

Please bring your own device for classroom training and wireless access will be provided.
